Jim’s Bio

Jim is a Police Officer from Long Island. His friends call him “Jimmy The Greek”. Jim and Bill were lucky enough to be picked as contestants on this season #4 of “The Biggest Loser” where they went on to sweep the prizes by losing the most body-weight percentage.

Bill lost 164 pounds which was 49%, and Jim was the biggest (percentage) weight-loser on the show losing over 51% with a weight loss of 186 pounds. Bill won $250K, and Jim won the $100k prize. “Dedication-Motivation-Education” is one of Jim’s new mottos, but he welcomes all of his fans to borrow it.

Jim’s Father, George Germanakos always had Jim and Bill stick to the mantra; “The only way to get something done, is to get it started!” Get it started, and you’re on your way! Well… they got it started, and went all the way. Jim will soon make available the diet and exercise plan that helped him to drop from 51 % body-fat to 10, and from 361 pounds to 175 pounds in just under 8 months.

Jim and Bill both started the season on Jillian Michael’s “Black Team”, but Jim was eliminated relatively early, leaving in week five. Jim was the first one voted off the Black Team, and was forced to return home to train by himself, with only his wife, Valerie at his side for support. Bill managed to avoid falling below the “Yellow Line” and made it to the end of the season, eventually being crowned “The Biggest Loser”.

Jim reminds us; “I had lost 54 pounds on the ‘Campus’ but then came home and spent many hours in the gym, losing another 132 pounds at home. He has recorded a personal video about his turning moment - An Amazing Story of Weight Loss
